Goodbye England.

I have been so busy over the past two weeks. Packing, moving house, setting up my room, then packing again. Now at last, my suitcase is ready to go, and I am in wait to bid the house goodbye and go on the road towards the airport. I've got around six hours until the flight, so I'm feeling a bit anxious. Not because of the flight, but as regards to my destination.
I personally enjoy flying very much, and have been to India and the UAE multiple times. One would think as I have been to India before, I shouldn't feel too uncomfortable going to Pakistan. But as far as my knowledge goes, and from what I've heard, the two countries are very different. Just a few days ago I was watching a news report that said how in the city which we will be going to, over a hundred people have died due to shooting between the Pakistani police force and a group. I sincerely  hope our accomodations will be far from the area in which there is violence.
Travelling is fun, and I hope to see some of the main tourist attractions in Pakistan, nevertheless I hope to have a good time there. The stay shall be of around 5-6 weeks and the Muslim celebrations of Eid will be going on at around the fifth week in our stay there, so that should be fun also.
Will keep you up-to-date, but until then, wish me luck!

Break from the hectic packing.

Went to see our new house today. I didn't go to school due to feeling a bit down, but I felt better later and dad took me to the new house which is 2 hours away. It's quite nice, very green garden and a quiet area.
I noticed there were quite a lot of cats around, which is a good thing as I love cats!
I'm thinking, when I get back from Pakistan, I'm going to try my very best and hardest to persuade mum and dad to allow me to have a cat. We have had cats in the past, lots of them, but due to some unfortunate accidents, my parents are quite reluctant to have pets in the house now.
The weather is good over here, very hot for me, around 24 degrees celcius. Phew! I can't imagine how hot it will be in Pakistan... I sure do hope the house is fitted with ACs.
I'm a tad bit worried about my skin as well. It tans very easily and I don't want it to be any darker. It gets all hot and itchy if it's exposed to too much sunlight, so I'm going to have to pack tonnes of sun lotion in my suitcase.
But hey, all the more cold fizzy drinks for me!

Moving house before leaving.

I hate moving. It seems like most of my life has been spent living on constuction sites as my father just doesn't seem happy with whatever house he purchases. He makes some modifications ( which usually take much longer than they should ) and then decides it's not for him and buys another house.
We've moved house more than 5 times now.
Anyways, I'm packing some of my stuff for my trip to Pakistan, and all the rest of my stuff for the new house.
Aaargh! So confusing! Mum has told me to pack all light and airy clothes for the holiday. There's long tops called 'kurtas', which are basically like dresses with sleeves and slits down the sides. They look alright to be honest, but I don't like the 'shalwars' that go with them. They feel uncomfortable. I think I'm just gonna go with my trusty jeans.
Mum also is going to take me shopping for sandals, which she says I'm going to need ( Not much of a fan of sandals me ).
Well, 1 week till we move house. Still not sure of the exact date of when we're leaving for Pakistan though. Probably around 3 weeks.

Packing.

I've started packing. Don't know when exactly we'll be leaving, though the summer holidays are going to start after 2 weeks.
